We only collect data when you provide it yourself through the enquiry form, by email or by phone: your full name, optionally your company name, email address, phone number, town and country of the project, a description of the project or idea, the desired deadline and any attachments (photos, sketches, drawings). The answer to “How did you hear about us?” is used only for internal statistics.
The website itself does not collect data about visitors and does not use analytics or tracking tools.
We use the data solely to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out the agreed order. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract and performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use the data for direct marketing and do not pass it on to third parties for marketing purposes.
Data sent through the form reaches us by email. In the process, it is technically processed by the web form service provider and the email provider, through whose servers the data is transferred (providers: Cloudflare, Inc. and Google (Gmail)). Confirmations of receipt are sent via Resend. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which keeps IP addresses and technical access data in its server logs for a short time for security reasons. All providers process data in line with the GDPR; for transfers outside the EU, standard contractual clauses apply.
We keep enquiries for as long as is necessary to reply and, where applicable, to prepare a quote, but no longer than 2 years after the last contact. If an order is placed, we keep the data in line with accounting and tax rules (generally 10 years for issued invoices).
At any time, you can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing. Send your request to kovinarstvo.krajnc@gmail.com; we will reply within one month at the latest. If you believe that we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, gp.ip@ip-rs.si, www.ip-rs.si.
